Through this notice, Silver Lake Media Group, LLC (“Silver Lake”) informs the users of our website (hereinafter referred to as “Users” and “Website”), about our policy relating to the collection and use of your personal data and information (“Personal Data”), which we may request from time to time or that we may obtain in the course of your registration or subscription to receive certain products and services offered on or through the Portal. Silver Lake uses the Personal Data to manage, administer, provide, improve, and expand the products and services; to customize and personalize the services in accordance with User tastes and preferences; to analyze a User’s use of the services; to create new services related to said services; to update the existing services; and to send technical, operational and commercial information, by traditional and/or electronic means, relating to the products and services offered by Silver Lake and/or third parties, currently and in the future.

Also, Silver Lake may use the Personal Data to send survey forms to Users, which Users may voluntarily complete. Silver Lake may subcontract third parties to perform certain services in connection with the Personal Data, including without limitation, the management and storage of the Personal Data, the creation of promotions for Silver Lake , the delivery or coordination of the delivery of communications to users who have agreed to receive such communications, provided that, such third parties have agreed to maintain the confidentiality of the Personal Data in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Silver Lake has implemented certain security measures as required by law to protect Personal Data. While Silver Lake cannot guarantee protection against the loss, misuse, alteration, and theft of the Personal Data outside of Silver Lake’s control, Silver Lake uses the technical means and safeguards to avoid and prevent the loss, misuse, alteration, and theft of the Personal Data provided to Silver Lake.

In certain cases, Silver Lake may share Personal Data with third parties. Should this happen, Users will be clearly notified in the Personal Data collection forms provided.

Organizations affiliated with Silver Lake as well as third parties with which Silver Lake may share Personal Data may include foreign companies and organizations. In the event that Silver Lake transfers any of your Personal Data to a foreign country, Silver Lake will ensure that your Personal Data is handled securely and kept confidential.

Silver Lake will disclose information about individual users to governmental or judicial authorities or law enforcement agencies, or to other individuals or entities in response to subpoena, court order, or other legal process, local or foreign. In matters involving a danger to personal or public safety, Silver Lake may keep and voluntarily disclose the content of any communication sent, kept or uploaded through the Services, as well as Personal Data from the author, to appropriate governmental authorities, local or foreign, if required by law or if in good faith, Silver Lake believes such disclosure is necessary to: (a) respond to complaints regarding content violation of third party rights; (b) enforce a warrant, or (c) protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Silver Lake employees, its users and the general public.
